Benches

A bench in Suffolk, in a village near Newmarket. And a bench in Berlin.

Urban Scenes

Two sides of London which I get equal pleasure from: art galleries, and people on the Underground.
The painting is of Henrietta Anne, Duchess of Orleans, 1644-1670, and is in the National Portrait Gallery. She was the youngest daughter of King Charles I, and her pet name was Minette.
I am not sure which tube station platform this is. It's quite likely to be the Circle Line, since that is my favourite and I will use it in preference to any other to return to Liverpool St.

A Coffee Moment

Coffee and biscotti at a cafe in Charing Cross Road.

Sketchbook Pages

Sometimes I go through a sketchbook, and if there is a little quick sketch in biro pen, I add colour and tone to it, and make something of the page. This is the one I did today. I used a brush pen, a dip pen, and crayon for the colour.
